Laura’s academia is in International Business Administration with a major in International Finance and Marketing from United States International University and further training in Corporate Finance and Real Estate Financing from International Faculty of Finance, London, United Kingdom.
Laura has received various awards and recognition both locally and internationally; some of these include The Young African Woman Entrepreneur of the year in 2010, Laura was named among Top 40 under 40 Women in Kenya by Business Daily Africa 2014 and crowned The Most Influential Young Woman Under 30 in Kenya 2014, Timeless Woman of Wonder 2015; Fortune 500 – US State Department Most Powerful Women Mentee 2015; Financial Warrior Award in 2015 by Pan Africa Magazine presided over by The African Development Bank; Enterprise Warrior Award in 2018 and Woman Owned Business Award in 2018 by The East African Business Council, an arm of The East African Community.
